2023 Franklin County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The 2023 Franklin County HMP has been approved by Ohio EMA and FEMA. To view the final plan, click the buttons below.

Volume I – Area Wide Elements
Federally required elements of a disaster mitigation plan that apply to the entire planning area. This includes a description of the planning process, planning area hazard risk assessments, public involvement, capabilities, goals and objectives, mitigation strategy process, and a plan maintenance strategy.
Volume II – Planning Team Annexes
Federally required jurisdiction-specific elements, in annexes, for each participating jurisdiction. It includes a description of the participation requirements established by the Core Planning Team, as well as instructions and templates that the planning team used to complete the annexes. Lastly, it includes the individual annexes for each participating jurisdiction.
Appendices
Supplementary information from Volumes I and II. This information serves as a resource for Franklin County and participating jurisdictions with reviewing, maintaining, and updating the 2023 HMP.
